Deployant and tang Q
Can I use the OEM Deployant on an OEM strap (24mm x 22mm)?
Thanks for your help! Tony |

Google knows ;) They are different straps so the buckles are not interchangeable.

Need more detail to answer your question.
Which OEM deployant? There are more than one size. There are 22mm deployants for and 20mm deployants. There are OEM straps made for the standard buckle and ones made for the deployant. The ones made for deployant are thinner at the ends so the deployant works flawlessly. You could possible force the buckle model strap into a deployant, but it wouldn't be ideal and would most likely cause damage to the strap or premature wear on the deployant. For the money you need to get a strap made specifically for a deployant. Like I said, Panerai makes both.

Thanks mfer, that's very helpful. I have a Deployant thats 22mm. I'll be careful and not force it onto a tang strap.
Happy holidays. |
