AP Strap Change Toolset from Horus

For those of you with APs that you can't get enough of the strap changes, I highly recommend the following product from Horus:

https://www.horusstraps.com/collecti...p-installation

There is nothing unique or proprietary in this set that I can see, but they're the only place I've seen that sells this small metal base which really makes the screwdriver work much more safe and easy.

I changed my bands this evening using these tools and it made a world of difference. No watch scratches, no blood, and no swearing!!

Before this set, I used two Burgeon screwdrivers and I won't even go into details of how painful it was for me.

$195 I think is pretty darn steep, but they've been running 30% off promotions most of the summer.

Just wanted to make people aware of this...

Did you check Esslinger dot com?

I can’t really see the “small metal base” in your toolset, but is it a double ended screw tool for changing watch straps?

I should have checked their site, and I don't know why I didn't because I've bought screwdrivers from them before. And sure enough, they have something similar for only $25:

https://www.esslinger.com/horofix-do...ewdriver-base/

Granted, the Horus kit has a nice springbar tool, screwdrivers, replacements, etc. But you're probably right you can get what you need for cheaper from Esslinger.

The base makes a world of difference, at least for me. So, I highly recommend one. I won't even begin to describe the mess I created using two screwdrivers, but it involved a couple of watch scratches and band-aids :-)
