The new Tudor Pelagos ( in blue ) won the 2015 Grand Prix D'Horlogerie De Geneve Sport Watch Prize classification. Has the Explorer II win anything yet ?

I'm a good guitar player but I unfortunately didn't receive a Grammy this year for my contributions to the industry.

As far as winning some irrelevant prize... Not convinced that has any bearing on which watch is better? Collectively I would wager our fellow members combined experiences would be a more valuable gauge as to which watch is best suited to the individual. The Pelagos is on the chunky side but the titanium compensates by keeping it light. The explorer hands are oddly shaped and to me were a bit awkward but to its credit as a truly fine watch it keeps its thickness down to a practical height. Either one could serve as a phenomenal daily wear, the Pelagos is nearly half the price and overall I think a more versatile and inspired choice... I Chose the explorer earlier in this thread before I had a Chance to know the Pelagos.

Completely different watches IMO, one is for the sea and one is for the land. Both are great watches, I do like the polar EXP II though, if I had to pick between the 2
