If anyone knows better, does blue dial (4500v) being currently under re-modeling/upgrading process? That’s what I heard from US AD, (not boutique) but not sure whether it’s just make an excuse because AD can’t order that model.

I'm thinking about selling my Rolex Pepsi BLRO and Rolex SD43 MK1 and getting the blue dial VC Dual Time. Money coming back to me of course after the trade. Am I crazy for thinking this? I still do have a white dial Daytona C and a Blue Skydweller as for Rolexes in my collection and a Hulk on order.

Crazy? No, not in my opinion. But you’re talking about letting go two classic, iconic, highly desirable modern pieces for a relative newcomer (albeit a very, very nice newcomer). I don’t think I could do that. I’d be more inclined to swap the SkyDweller if anything, but that’s just a matter of my preference. First world problems!

Wow! For me this is the "sweet spot" in the Overseas steel collection. Not as sterile as the 3-hander and no unbalanced 4:30 date aperture as on the Chromo.

Solid trade up, especially with the current premiums on those Rolex models, and the dual time (blue) is still obtainable across some boutique locations.
