Need help identifying this bracelet
Good morning gents,
I picked up this beat up 1.8m 1967 GMT master used a couple of months ago, got it serviced and replaced cracked crystal and original punched up bezel insert with a NOS (yeah.. I know, it's heresy). Stunning watch but while reading and learning about the variations and history of the 1675, I started researching the make and model of the bracelet that came with the watch and the further i dig, the more confused I am. Can someone identfy this. Looks like a mash-up from multiple parts. Riveted bracelets usualy show the 7206 stamping on last link, not here. End link on one side is 64, other side is either 61 or 64 (indistinct) with a tiny bit of play between the lugs. Clasp is not what I usualy see on riveted bracelets. So, asides from the obvious rebrushes and polishes, what can you tell me . your input is much appreciated! |

Indeed, looks like the buckle style used with folded links bracelets. It seems the last link (the one that would usualy be stamped with ie 7206) was either opened or stretched. Maybe a replacement link? |
