I am seeing most posts are totally worthless these days. It is easy to browse through titles, ranging from what something is worth, reasons to buy or not buy, even recent orders for hard to get pieces that leave clients less than convinced they made a nice purchase.

Sorry for the rant. The forum is totally useless to me at this time. I might pull away altogether. If you still enjoy it, kudos to you I am pulling away from all the nonsense.

I'm sorry you feel that way. There's only one more watch I want and it'll be somewhat easy to get. To me the forum is about much more than the aforementioned. I genuinely enjoy my time here, the company of the fine members, and learning about various (new to me) topics or hobbies.

Never say never but one must always do what feels right.

The forum is in a slump, but it's no different than any forum I've been on, except that this slump has more to do with market forces and the attendant issues surrounding that.

People take time off from forums all the time, so that's no big deal.

It's a dynamic world of watches, though, so there will more excitement as time goes by.

Those threads have been around for years. Maybe you changed, OP. I know that as I've aged and matured, my priorities have shifted. As a result, I'm less status conscious, less interested in luxury goods, and visit TRF less often.
