What’s your OTHER obsession?

I’m assuming since you’re actually on this forum, reading this thread, you’re a bit obsessed with your rolex watch. What else are you obsessed with?
Besides work and family, my other obsessions, or serious interests, are cycling and making pizza!

Bike of the pedalling kind. I currently own 6 and am heading out today to see a potential candidate for number 7.

Fitness is probably the biggest hobby, followed by photography.

Although I’m not as fit as I should be, I’ll join you on the cycling thing. I’ve spent thousands in the last few months. Just added a new gravel bike along with lots of Castelli goodies.

I have over 150 guitars in my collection, mostly Telecasters, Stratocasters and a few P-Bass. They take up an entire bedroom for storage.
I just wish I played as good as my collection would have one believe.

I used to be an avid cyclist (my last bike cost more than my SS SkyDweller) but kids have halted that passion for me.

If I’m honest, my other obsession is my lawn.

Project Euler problems. They're addicting.

I also collect vintage guitar amplifier and effects. My latest gem is an original 1963 Supro 1622RT Tremo-Verb in excellent condition.

Very impressive! I got my first Fender Stratocaster at 15 and immediately worked my way through a couple books of Metallica sheet music. I bought a Jackson before joining the Army and never played again. I wish I had kept it up but at least I passed my guitars to my younger brother who still plays today.

1. Cats :P
2. Perfumes (I have more than I would be able to use in my lifetime).
3. Shoes & handbags (well, what else can you expect from a lady?)
4. Reading

On a side note, why are there no ladies on the forum? If someone asks for opinion regarding ladies watches, most men comment citing their wife/GF choices. Where are the wives, GFs themselves?

Indeed! My wife’s passions are similar to yours (except for cats), she loves her Rolex but by no means is obsessed. In fact, I still change the date for her after every 30 day month!

I own about 22 bikes between my homes in States and in Sri Lanka. We are currently in Sri Lanka for the next 6 months so that I can cycle in the hot and humid conditions..

I so wish I could get into fitness! I’ve just created a home gym and the Peloton bike has just arrived, so going to give it a go!

Shopping and running. I like to get my runs in early, like 5am, even on weekends. Well, maybe 6am on weekends :) I run outside even in the dead of water, unless it’s really icy or snowy out.

That’s amazing. Good for you. It’s cliche but true :all journeys start with a single step.

Don’t hold yourself to too high a standard. Stay focused and when you get bored and plateau, just keep going. Single steps.

And they pay attention to how you feel. For me, it’s now a daily thing. If I do nothing, I feel crappy. But even a little effort makes me feel good. Bad eating days have become painful. Mentally and physically. Good eating days make me feel super.

PM me if you ever want to chat.

Music - mostly on CD 'cause I'm an old guy and I like to be able to pick up the case, see the art and read the liner notes.

Wow. Love the wall phone! I wish I still had my landline because I have some nice old vintage Erika phones.

I suppose motorsports has become the other “obsession” - more specifically, amateur road racing officiating. I was a driver early on but retired some years ago.

The quotes around obsession are there because I consider it a way to payback the sport for all the other volunteers who went before me and made it possible to race.
