A damn shame. As a self proclaimed “car guy”, I feel for the owner.

Wow! I'm sure that many cars are pushed a little too hard when mechanics are test driving them but most don't end up like that!

I often wonder if the valet drivers take cars for a quick joy ride too...

So... was at a Ferrari Club event years ago at WGI. HPDE and having fun with the modded Euro 308QV. The Lotus dealer was there doing a few laps with a customer's brand new car to be sure all was fine.

You guessed it, the dealer 'blendered' the Lotus coming out of the final turn onto the main straight.

Customer never drove his brand new Lotus. Never will as it was totaled.

Dealer replaced it of course.

It’s totaled but someone will buy the wrecked vehicle and rebuild it. It’s an Enzo

I trust but verify with my mechanics. Fortunately, I don't drive an Enzo.

Yup, common sense too. The car should have sensed things and went into snow mode. But yeah, if you're going to be stupid then that's the result. Ah well, thank goodness there are more Enzos. Wonder how many we're down to now?
