Sounds interesting ... George Costanza wouldn’t have to worry about shrinkage

Thanks! After all these strange ”Pay me for organizing the event—such a hard work—pay me some more....” -events...
These GTG’s should be free and fun!!
BTW:
I’ve spent 1,5h organizing the event so far... three AD’s are with me and one exceptional once-in-a-lifetime -sauna-experience.

I prefer to avoid "exceptional once-in-a-lifetime" sauna experiences. Kind of a gutsy move after totally trashing the Vegas event you went too. Kind of sour grapes from not getting anything at the Rolex event....there's always Cellini. Big no to this ultra event!

I am more than happy that you understood the irony behind these words:
”Exceptional, Ultimate, Once-in-a-lifetime...”
These kinds of words people are using when they want money out of the event (like this Vegas you’re referring)... but this time:
It’s all for free. Finnish hospitality. This will be the only GTG that I want to organize just to experience myself how much time it actually takes and if it is such a hard work as some has been crying that it is. I also want people to have some fun for free. Too many price tags nowadays in every occation.
Please move on with your life. Vegas is past and I wasn’t the only one critizizing the event.
I didn’t trash the Vegas—the organizer did it all by himself. G got plenty of possibilities to make things right, but for some reason he didn’t want to. And actually I did get something out of the event/Rolex, but still: fraud is a fraud.
All the best!!!

Ditto. Love his comparison between Helsinki and Vegas AD's.

Vegas aside. I hope all who attend have a great time. Doesn't look to be my cup of tea. Personally my expectation of 'free' is "you get what you pay for".

Sounds great. If you get it organized, I would be happy to attend.

Of course it’s easy for me as I live here in Helsinki.

The comparison is hilarious:
In Vegas you will have to pay and you’ll get robbed&feel betrayed; in Helsinki you will experience some Finnish hospitality and luxury for free...

This forum and GTG’s should be all about sharing the passion for watches&some good things together for free—not making profit out of the passion that we all share.

Very generous offer!

We are unable to attend, but Helsinki and Finland are terrific places, having been there a few years ago.
