I know what you’re going to say...

.. but wanted to ask anyway.

I have been offered this watch at a reasonable price leading me to believe it’s not authentic.

I know “but the seller” but also know I trust the community

The best part about this -- and there are quite a few good ones -- is how the screws on the back are lined up correctly but the ones on the front are all over the place.

I wouldn't even look at an authentic one in this terrible of condition. I actually somewhat respect the person that rocked this fake so hard that it now looks like it was dragged on the pavement for 100 miles behind a truck.

I bet the seller is also claiming that it’s never been polished.

If his 'reasonable' price is $3 you are good to go

Not trolling!

It looks to me like it says “Offshore” on the case back when this obviously is is not but as I’m brand new to vintage, I wanted to have community weigh in.

Fair value for this timepiece, which is 100% authentic and in excellent condition, should be around $65,000.

Great find!

This is the worst picture of a bad fake watch.
Hope you are not seriously considering buying that garbage.

I’ve seen a stainless steel Royal Oak ran over at SFO that looked more valuable. ;-)

Explain to me how you think they loosen and tighten inset screws that are hexagonal on the front AND the back. Think about it.

Also I just love how the ones in the back don’t even line up with the ones in the front!

Even my 5 year old daughter would recognize the likelihood of this being genuine is 0. At least the screws line up on the back!!
