I was out shooting photos of a soccer game for the newspaper and thought this would be a good time for a wrist shot......

Is the DSSD that much bigger?
I've been visiting my local AD's recently in the hope they have both the 116610 & 116660 so I could do a size comparison but unfortunately they've only seem to have one or other. Was wondering if the size difference is so significant as it appears above. I know the Sub is 40mm & the DSSD is 43mm but does 3mm really make that much of a difference? Seems it dwarfs the sub.
Thanks |

My FIRST Rolex
Took a lot of searching. I was ready to pull the trigger on a Hulk, but there was still something too common about the Sub. I saved up and was ready to buy a ss Daytona, but when I tried one on I was shocked at how small and fragile they felt. Coming from the Panerai world, there was just one choice...
I wanted to wade into the Rolex world, so I'm starting with and Isofrane strap. Sooo comfortable. I'm wearing it almost 24/7 Last edited by pierson; 11 December 2012 at 12:44 AM.. Reason: strap |

Had mine 2 days now and I don't know what all the fuss is about when people say it's to heavy. I don't even notice the weight and I don't have big wrists.
Love it. |

DSSD On A BREITLING Strap....
Ok, I know that many with think it is blasphemy, but my brand new (current) grail Deepsea is sitting on a Brietling pro dive strap....
I wanted to put it on rubber and due to the size of this baby (I have a 7" wrist) I want it to fit as perfectly as possible and only this Breitling strap can do that. It is a fantastic deployment with very easy to use micro adjustment. Still feels strange having the Breitling logos on it. I thought about trying to remove them, but the strap cost a fortune. |
