GMT Master II with Submariner Bezel

Just purchased a 1986 GMT Master II 16760. It appears to have a Submariner bezel with a GMT Insert. Only turns to the left and clicks 120 time in one revolution of the bezel.

Am in discussions with the seller regarding resolution but would appreciate any input? How was this done? Does this indicate a fake?

Thanks and love the forum.

Your best bet is to post clear images when you have enough posts here on forum. Sometimes a few pics tell a thousand words. Welcome!

It is only a tiny "click spring" that differentiates the action of the two bezel types. It's possible that the watch has the incorrect Submariner click spring or the proper spring has become bent or broken. Either way, this is a very simple, fast, and inexpensive repair. When you change, you can upgrade to the newer (mid-2000's+) longer style gmt spring which turns more smoothly.

I would like to see images of the watch before drawing any conclusions about the click spring. My2C
