Seiko SRPB23K1

So, browsing the internets I came across this little gem:

at around $139 it seems like a pretty good buy, sort of a discount Bathyscaphe Day Date....

so, almost the same, other than Seiko managed to get the day and date in the proper place....

Anybody on here have one and, if so, how is it ?

That Seiko 5 is Awesome! The Blancpain is really nice as well but Absolutely hate when a watch is ruined because of bad day/date dial placement.

Looks nice!

Cheaper on some sites as opposed to others. Never saw one in person. 44mm sounds a little big.

Its a cushion case design so the watch should wear pretty decent like the Seiko Turtles.

Oh man I don't need another but I love that dial. It reminds me of the new Tudor bronze dial.

Getting one

I fell victim to the siren call and ordered one. Should arrive on 7/8.

Black bracelet?

Would a black PVD bracelet look funny on this watch? The “turtle shell” part of the watch is silver colored.

It would match the bezel imo

Very cool dial. I would take it and drop it into a diver case and throw a lumed second hand on it.

Really like it on Day 1!

Slightly big and heavy. But I am getting used to it. Dial is very attractive. The strap is surprisingly comfortable. I have a couple of Natos on deck, but the Seiko looks good, feels good and it is somewhat short, which is good for me.

Overall, I approve. Even my wing woman approved!

The best part of this watch has to be this fantastic looking dial.

I am thinking about this watch. If I can find one at what I consider a very good deal and am in the mood for a purchase, I will add it.

I don’t want to advertise, but...

If you want to know where I got this and for how much, PM me. Surprisingly low price.
