Out with the OLD | In with the NEW!

Last week our refrigerator died. We lost a lot of Steaks, Chicken, Fish, basically everything in our refrigerator and freezer. Bummer!

I got on it right away and we took delivery of a new unit on Wednesday. So far we are liking it...

Classy!

Happened to me over Christmas once. I was bbqing for 18hrs

Best thing about it, I learned anything can be cooked on a grille.

Nothing better than a new fridge! Thanks for sharing.

Looks nice Larry! Maybe a kitchen remodel is in order to match the shiny new fridge?

This is exactly why you need a beer fridge in the garage.

That's a first for me.
Never seen a finish on a fridge like the top one.
Good luck with the new one.

Wish ours didn’t have it. We go into the ice maker bucket in the freezer to get ice anyhow and all the water does is cause drips when people use it and aren’t careful and cost me money to keep filters in it. And we lose a ton of fridge space from the ice maker in the door.

This.
Happened to me about 2 mos ago. Jammed everything in the beer box. Only downside was having to go outside to the storage space to get something.
Really came in handy as we were without an inside refrigerator for 2 weeks. Apparently no one in our area is a supplier for Viking parts. Giant PIA.

But they look so cool and modern.

I’ve never had one. The only thing I use ice for is fish in the cooler, and bagged gas station ice works fine for that.

Yes sir!!!! We have a gas station by us that sells bagged ice that is cut in squares and uses ultra pure boiled water to make. It is crystal clear and awesome for parties.

Did you have to go on a waiting list? And did the dealer let you peel the stickers off yourself?

Anyway, love the format with pull out freezer drawer on the bottom! They are the way to go!

Out with the OLD | In with the NEW!

So.... We decided to pass on the Water and Ice dispenser on the door. We only used the crushed ice for Smoothies/Margaritas anyway. Ice maker is in the freezer for cubed ice. We have a triple water filter system and dispenser at the sink for good clean water.

Not going to remodel the kitchen as we like it BUT... Looked at a Viking Stove, Dishwasher and Over Hood yesterday and will likely place the order next week! Our kitchen will be getting a Complete Appliances Refresh!

I need to get the SS cleaner for it and the other units too. I let the maid know to only use SS cleaner on the SS and to clean with the grain. The manufacturer suggests this and said Never used Windex or other products as they can cause Rust!

Sorry for the funny angle on the picture of the new SS fridge, see new one for better perspective. The old one was a Jen-Air and we ordered the wood insets to match the Custom Thomasville Wooden Cabinetry. I liked the look but the new SS gives the kitchen a fresh new look! IMHO

PS- Just TODAY our Washing Machine started making noise! I have a feeling a new one will be delivered in the next week or so too!

I have a kitchenette in the basement. Overstock of steak is kept in there and heaven forbid if we have a failure.

I had a 5 burner gas cooktop. Wife cleaned it one day with a green scotch brite pad.

I has been cleaning it with basically just a wet microfiber cloth until then. Looked brand new every time. I think your fridge has an even glossier finish too. Or at least the pic looks that way. Nice one though.
