Seamaster conversion?

I have an omega seamaster Bond and would like to put a 2254 dial/hand and bezel on it. Cannot get the local Omega dealer to even entertain the idea. The actual watch has tremendous sentimental value - else I would have bought one (a 2254). Does anyone know of such dial/hands/bezel swaps being accomplished?

thanks!

Welcome Steve! Should be no problem at all for any competent watchmaker. All of the parts can be ordered from Ofrei. While you're at it, consider a non AC conversion with the applied marker dial and white gold insert.

Remember, it didn't happen without pictures

Hi Steve,

Here are a few photos of my converted 2531.80.00 "Bond" Seamaster Pro (I used the 2230.50.00 non-AC dial instead of the 2254 dial):

Since taking the photos, I did buy the OME-020ST1610930 bracelet for it which I am now wearing the watch on.

That looks lovely. Wonder what it would look like with a PO bezel?..

IMO, you should just get a 2254 if you want it. Keep your Bond and save up for the 2254.
