Seamaster conversion?
I have an omega seamaster Bond and would like to put a 2254 dial/hand and bezel on it. Cannot get the local Omega dealer to even entertain the idea. The actual watch has tremendous sentimental value - else I would have bought one (a 2254). Does anyone know of such dial/hands/bezel swaps being accomplished?
thanks! steve |

Welcome Steve! Should be no problem at all for any competent watchmaker. All of the parts can be ordered from Ofrei. While you're at it, consider a non AC conversion with the applied marker dial and white gold insert.
Remember, it didn't happen without pictures

Hi Steve,
Here are a few photos of my converted 2531.80.00 "Bond" Seamaster Pro (I used the 2230.50.00 non-AC dial instead of the 2254 dial): On the Omega black rubber deployant strap OME-98000037 Since taking the photos, I did buy the OME-020ST1610930 bracelet for it which I am now wearing the watch on. IMO, you should just get a 2254 if you want it. Keep your Bond and save up for the 2254.
