Snoopy silver subdial color question

Pardon me because I'm not good with color. But just today I noticed that the background color of the snoopy subdial in the 9 o'clock position is different from the ones in the 3 and 6 o'clock. While they all look the same when looking directly at the dial, if I look at it at a steep angle, the 3 o'clock subdial has a blue that looks washed out, like there's more white in the background color than it should. Is this normal?

That's probably because the two sub-dials at 3 and 6 o'clock have some gradation. This is not the case with Snoopy at position 9. As a result, the incidence of light is different and there is a different color perception.

Treat the subdials with an ultraviolet light. You’ll see the difference.

I noticed this in multiple photos a while back before picking up mine, perfectly normal on these.

Yeah I noticed the same thing. Not sure if the color is different or maybe just the texture of the dial and the way it catches the light. It sort of bugs me that they went with a blue hand on that dial instead of white. I'd take a slight loss in legibility over the loss of synergy created by the color differences

So from what I recall in the original videos when the watch was released. The subdial at 9 o'clock is painted and part of the silver dial, the dials at 3 and 6 are metal inlays. Hence why the 9 o'clock is different, cause the same paint is applied to different surfaces.
