Finally did it!
After my proposed 111 deal fell through at the last minute a month ago I banished all thoughts of taking the plunge, be sensible, save money, etc etc.
However! Today a call from my better half who unknown to me had been in touch with her friend who works at an AD (I had no idea). They had a new delivery arrived, a 111 was in the store and she had negotiated me a substantial discount for cash but I had to get a move on!! One breathless dash to the bank, a quick taxi ride (fast as you can please mate) and now the beauty is in my possesion  some kind of wine based token of my appreciation on its way i think. |
