Is this timepiece still availabe? I was discussing with an AD and they told me this modell is discontinued. Is this true or they just lied to me?😅

I think Rolex is only selling the rose gold model (the yellow gold and white gold are discontinued), but good luck getting one. Because of how difficult it is to source the gradient color sapphires for the bezel, Rolex doesn't make many of these. Probably the most difficult Rolex to acquire.

These type of timepieces are exclusive, they aren't in the Rolex catalog. Rolex doesn't make much each year. I don't think they are discontinued.

Only certain group of people that love it and they are quite expensive when compare to regular PM Rolex timepieces. If you love to own these type of timepieces, let your AD knows so they can call you when they get it.

The Rainbow is not discontinued. However, as someone has already pointed out, it is not something an AD can sell to you easily. My understanding is that the Rainbow is allocated to customers by Rolex HQ and that if you are serious about wanting one, then your AD will contact Rolex HQ and request your name to be put forward as an interested party.

I love both Daytona Rainbow and RG GMT SARU. I have RG GMT SARU, just got it about a month ago, I love it but wear it only on special occasion.

I don't think it's discontinued, but by them telling you it is, they're telling you to forget about it. They don't just sell a 100k watch that you could flip for 500k to just anyone.

Incredible saru. That’s the real goat right there. Way classier than a rainbow. Although the rainbow does have its certain charm. I wonder how much you have to spend to qualify for an ad saru…

My AD only gets 1 rainbow Daytona a month. Only in rose gold now. Very exclusive. Only sells to grays now.

Was on the list of potential buyers 2 months ago. It came in and someone else was selected. Seen the pics from my A D. Alas a VVIP/Whale kicked me down a few notches. Had the funds ready and everything. No dice
