Got this for my dad 60th birthday, and while I am at it..

So it's my dad 60th birthday this coming weekend and I was thinking last month, while I contemplating which watch to get for myself (or which 5 in line and shifting their priority...I know we all do it..Lol) I realized I should be looking for one for my old man. But I know my dad will never approve such idea, he is the typical blue collar guy who will never buy anything luxurious for himself, put his children first, leave all the best part of the dishes to me and my sister and will definitely turn down such idea.
So this have to be a surprise, which is even more fun for me.
There is no doubt for me, that the watch have to be an Rolex so my mum and I went to the nearest AD and look for my dad watch. I was almost certain it will be a DJ so just looking at different combo with the dial and bracelet, the sales was showing some lady Rolex to my mum and I asked her to try some one while we are here. My mum is just like my dad, owning an Rolex is something never crossed her mind. She was trying some OP, and I said if you just going to own 1 Rolex, it should be the DJ. So she tried on some lady DJ and I knew at that moment I should be getting her one too.
After decided which one to get for my parents,( I didn't buy at the spot, becoz I was going to Europe for 2 weeks and wanted to try my luck while I am there) I txt my sister tell her what I am getting for Dad birthday, and I was planning to say it was from both of us, becoz I know my dad will like that even more, but of course I don't want my sister to chip in.
Later that day, my sister txt me saying what she should get for her 30 birthday, which is in December ( Lol, you asking a watch guy what you should get, I think you already know the answer) so she ask me what brand she should get...Etc and I said for you first real watch, you should get a Rolex.....And I told her I like the grape dial OP which should looks nice on her but be sure to try it on before you make up your mind. A week later she said she love the green dial OP which I approved.
So I was thinking, oh what the heck, let's get 3 of them and share my love of watches and in particular of Rolex.

Here are the watches and I can't wait to surprise my dad.

PS, my mum already got the watch and the way she wears it and told my wife behind my back that I shouldn't have waste so much money tells me how much she love the watch and how long ago I should have done this.

Great story and that is very nice of you. I told myself I want to get my parents one eventually but I'm working on it. Luckily I don't have any siblings.

Oh and since you're on a roll, I would like a hulk please!

I’m sure he’s very proud of you. That’s a great thing to do for your father.
