Air King dial thoughts
Seems the weekend for dial questions, I have another one for input from a buddy. Recently acquired Air King, thinking this is an aftermarket dial--no lume plots, indicies appear "flat topped", were several items which raised the question. Hoping the photo is clear enough for some assessment work, had to reduce reso to post.....aftermarket? Thoughts?

looks fishy, weird that it has no lume plots. Need a closer pic of the texts though.
One thing to note about the 3,6,9 indices...they are a smidgen thicker than the rest and have some sort of linear texture to them. |

My 1601 Datejust doesn't have lume. I have seen a few non lume Datejust's but not sure about Air kings. I'm sure someone on here will know

It looks ok to me, its just a non-lume model. There were 3 options on vintage models. No lume, lume hands only or full lume which had lume on the hands and dial. Most of the aftermarket/fake Air King dials had a pointed A in Air King. The round top A is usually factory.
