New Addition: Tudor Canadian MilSub
Wanted to share the latest addition with you gents. I was fortunate to purchase this 94010 MilSub from a retired Royal Canadian Navy diver. It was his friend's issued watch that he smuggled out for personal use. Funny story, as he tucked it in his wetsuit on a dive, told the dive officer that the clasp broke and it fell off on the dive, and they simply wrote it off and issued him another. Great gent that sold it to me and really cool to talk to these former divers.
Anyone else out there have RCN MilSubs? I actually haven't seen another Lollipop 94010 that was issued, which is kind of cool. Final note - I was working with terrible pictures and an elderly gent, so didn't fully know what to expect in terms of case condition. Needless to say, it has never seen a polishing wheel. Original bevels still intact! |

Yipes!
Quite the tale my friend. Let's hope someone from the cdn government doesn't give you a call! Especially since no Canadian hockey teams are in the playoffs. So we are bored. Drunk. And jealous of your Blackhawks! |

Ya know, it's funny you say that. I really want to pry for an extract or something, but I'm also a little worried that they'd ask for it back!

ChicagoFrog,
You've picked up a lovely Tudor. The Canadian Navy won't have an extract, so not to waste any time on that. You've done all you can by getting this from the ex-servicemember. I have one Lollipop version, but I know it was actually a Snowflake with the Lollipop hour hand swapped at a service, These being used at the end of the service Tudors. The five Tudors in the middle of this photo are all RCN with Letters of Provenance. Cheers, Buster |

You have a beautiful watch. I have the same watch, wore her yesterday. They are not common, when I doing research before I bought mine I could not find many examples online. Congrats on the Tudor.

Thanks for the reply, I actually hadn't seen another Lollipop MilSub either until your picture! Well done. Also Royal Canadian Navy?

I just picked up a Canadian milsub as well with the same caseback markings that chicagofrog has. Hasn't arrived yet though. Pics to follow later this week!
