New from central Illinois.

Thank you for creating the forum! I’ve always loved watches and finally in a position where I can afford to purchase the luxury timepieces. I look forward to reading all the posted information to help me make a more informed purchase. Additionally I’m looking forward to obtaining a collection worthy of having 😁. How often do you guys wear your timepieces? I’m debating on just collecting. I’m scared to wear a nice timepiece too often and damage it.

Welcome to the forum. I wear a watch every day, I’d feel naked without it

I also wear a watch every day. You cannot damage a watch by wearing it once a year or every day. Damage comes from an accident which can happen anywhere, anytime, not from just wearing a watch. Prudent wearing of your watches by being aware of where your wrist is in time and space, goes a long way in avoiding collisions with hard structures. Taking a watch off to do heavy chores, using heavy equipment or engaging in contact sports is smart also.
