Will Rolex swap Daytona ceramic dials?

I was curious if Rolex will change a black dial ceramic to a white dial?
Ballpark of cost?

I believe you have the right to do it while the watch is being serviced. Keep in mind they don’t let you keep the old dial

I was told by my Rolex parts watchmaker a couple years that Rolex doesn’t allow any changes at service. That’s consistent with everything I know as well. That’s why people by parts at Gray dealers

I think they only allowed it with the black to blue dial WG BLRO, otherwise they won’t change the DNA of their watches

I don’t know about today, but in 1992 my dad purchased a 16618 through an AD. The one in stock was a black dial. The AD sent it to Rolex to swap it for a blue dial and bezel.

No. I called RSC Beverly Hills and was told no, even if during a full service, and that they were very strict about it.

I ask for several reasons; When I traded my 2004 Rolex the new owner took it to NYC for service; he has asked for dial swap then changed his mind. (it was written onto the estimate)..got me wondering if they did that for current models also

I would love to have the chance to see a white dial in person, and hopefully have a shot at owning one of each color (maybe give one to each son one day)
If I got a call from my AD that another black dial was in, I was wondering whether it would be easier to do a dial swap? or trade one black for a white dial...
Nice to know just in case I were to have a shot at another Daytona...
