The 233 dot is the most important modern Panerai and probably one of the most collectible because it has its first in house movement, it’s a GMT and has a no less than eight days reserve.

Just some of those on my mind...
![]() iconic 000, 004, 006, 009, 300, ... "vintage"... 232, 249, 399, 449, ... popular 005, 111, 112, 127, 305, 320, 372, ... loved 024, 087, 190, 217, 243, 317, ... technically significant 233, 275, 276, 319, 348, 365, 601 ... coveted 021, 036, 082, 172, 203, 267 382 ... laughed at (any ref. covered in diamonds...) hated 318... ~~~ Those are waaay too small for a guy like Thanos. He's gonna need a 300 or a 341... along with a 191 on the other wrist ![]() |

The 127 is the one. I like the 233 but as far as Panerai DNA it does not reflect back well. No GMT Panerai's on the Pigs. I would say the 372 is also cool but I do like a second hand.

I just dipped my toe into the world of Panerai. Picked up a 560. I know little to nothing about the brand. A bit of an impulse buy. Did I pick a good one?

For me,these are the iconic pams:
IMG_4709.JPG Painted dial Bettarini luminor - staying true to the pre-V Bettarinis IMG_3988.JPG Sandwich dial base luminor in 47mm - staying true to its history with 6152 Pam 232 or even 21 as it stays true to historical 3646 For me,iconic panerai should have either black or tobacco dial,no pop colored dials like blue or green...and no 30m wr models pleaseeee |

I'd vote for the Base Logo 000.

I vote for the 176 base or maybe the stainless steel version of that watch

which is the most iconic Panerai
I'm with you buddy, I love my 112. It's a great size at 44mm, it's two hand time only, it's got the sandwich dial, a manual movement, a display back, AND 300m water residence! What's not to love??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
