"New" TT DJ

Grabbed this 1986 Datejust 16013 yesterday at a local jewelry shop. Great price and just serviced w/ 1-year warranty. Too hard to pass up. Thought I'd share a few pics with you guys.

Nice!

Not to be a naysayer, but it is possible those are replacement hands.

On dials with inlay on the markers the hour & minute hands usually have matching inlay; these do not. They do have lume that is correct for the period, though, so I cannot be 100% sure.

Either way, it's a sweet DJ... enjoy it!

Well done! You can't go wrong with a TT DJ. This is my older brother of yours, 37 years old and counting.

Looks fantastic, especially considering the age of the watch. It appears you really lucked out on this one. Good find!

The markers are not plain gold, they are gold with black inlays.

Dials I have seen like that came with hands that also have black inlays to match.

I could easily be wrong; it's not like I know every variation from back then...

[Edit - I did a search for images to show what I mean and couldn't find a single one, so I must be having a University of Florida flashback!]
