Happens quite often and VERY easily. My wife refuses to give up her MOP/Diamond dial.

From what I read on Tudor, the Rolex crown on the dial is used to boost up the sale of a Tudor watch from a seller to a unsuspecting buyer, since some Tudor's is less expensive than the Rolex brand. I have also discovered that having a dial on a Tudor would cause it to be some sort of infringement from Rolex. After reading about this I started looking at the Tudor line and found not one single Tudor product has a Rolex crown on the dial sent from the factory, also, I have not seen any Rolex watches with the Tudor logo on the dials, reinforcing the census among other's that the Rolex crown does promote a rise in cost to a Tudor watch for capitol gain for a seller and nothing else.

On older Tudor models, the only time I have seen the Rolex name or crown as they should officially appear are on the caseback or on the winding crown. I have seen posts here that some may also have Rolex stamped on the clasp, but I have not personally seen that.
I have not seen any refernce to the name or crown on newer models. |
