WG surroundings and glossy dials, lets share them

I think its just a matter of time when the earlier glossy dials start to become collectible since the matte dials are rising in value. Lets share some nice examples of these cream dials and transitional models shall we?

Here's what the fedex guy bought me today. An 16750 no date that where made just in year 1983.

There's definitely a date on there, definitely a stunner though

Thanks! No date actually refers to a short period of dials that where produced in 83. They had only text "Oyster perpetual" instead of "oyster perpetual DATE". Small details.

I like the 1988 version:

It is a hint of happy color to the collection:

Sorry don't feel any of those are vintage.

The old GMTs on this thread are definitely "vintage" in my book. At a minimum, the WG surround dials and hands should be tritium. In any case, totally agree that these are heading in the direction of being vintage and prices for them are indeed increasing. (My early '90s SD.)

It's definitely a 'no-date' dial.

Congrats to the OP - very nice example.
