Can anyone identify this please?
I have had this for about 17 years, but no nothing of the history. I'm guessing it is from the turn of the 20th century. The face is about 1cm in diameter with 4 diamonds in each of the leaf structures and a further 14 round the circumference of the face.
Thank you watch.JPG |

It's a ladies cocktail watch, probably from the 50's - 60's.

Keep in mind that a lot of cocktail watches from that era were boutique made. They would source a basic cased Rolex movement and then embellish it with custom bracelets and precious metal settings. All depending on what the customer desired.

..Seen some similar, Elgin, Hamilton.. but not exactly as yours. Probably 1 of a kind I suspect.. ie, Boutique ..from whoever made it... Certainly worth keeping... Does it keep time..?

Do they have much value? I paid £450 for it so have never had it separately insured on my household policy. |
