Incoming: Omega Speedmaster 9300
Just picked up the Omega Speedmaster 9300, 44.25 mm. I have owned this watch before and liked the size and look as well as the 9300 movement. I have always found the Omega bracelets to be somewhat deficient when compared to Rolex but it is not a deal killer. As I have re-geared my collection lately I wanted a Panerai and an Omega. I purchased a Panerai 422 last week and decided to go all in and bought this Speedy. I now have Rolex, Tudor, Tag Heuer, Panerai, Omega and Seiko represented. I am going to wear this Omega on the metal for awhile but will put it on a NATO and leather soon enough.

Congrats, I like that one a lot. It's a great modern expression of the Moonwatch. Well done!

I really like the simplicity and balance of the 2 subdials, along with the date at 6 o'clock. I would really like to own this one myself, but the 44.25mm size puts it above what would look normal on my wrist.
It looks great on you...wear it in good health! |

I also love the look of the two subdial chrono...I recently bought a DSOTM on behalf of a friend. It has the same movement as OPs and is very impressive, and very accurate. Interesting that the stop watch minute hand does not jump like a Daytona/Navitimer/Speedy.

Such a great piece that doesn't get the love that the moonwatch rightfully receives. I have a POC 9300 and timekeeping is a predictable +4 per day. I'll have it regulated at it's first service in another five years. The bicompax chrono is sensibly laid out allowing a midline date window for great symmetry. 60-hour power reserve is welcome. I'm a big fan of the jumping hour mechanism to change time zones and dates while the second and minute hands run, it makes for a convenient travel watch if you can do without a GMT.
