It's only a 30-day ban/suspension for breaking forum rules.

Either way I got the Rolex click from Germany installed. The movement is running. Time for some adjustments to get it going. But we have a ton of other jobs in for repair. So they come first.

Well, that'll do it.

I was just thinking about asking you how this was coming along. Glad it's running.

We had to use a torch to get the crystal fragments that were embedded out, and the crystal gasket.

We were sent the wrong jewel. So hopefully we get the last part this week for it.

This is a really cool rebuild to follow! If I come across a destroyed Rolex or other watch like this, I will be restoring it too!

As this is deemed the official thread I will bump.

Personally I can wait to see this back in its case and presumably on a toxic NATO

It will live mainly on a nato. But I am going to get the lugs drilled on it eventually also.

Like the idea of drilled lugs, let's face it nothing is wrong or a poor choice on this particular watch.

Fixed bars would rock

Throw some sword hands on it and you could call it the Toxic Nato Mil-Gauss.

I'm seriously perplexed at the value of a working totally trashed AK. Seems like a lot of effort for little reward.

Sorry you think that. Right now I have 2k into it. If I ever part it out the movement should almost fetch that. But like anything it can be very subjective.

If I can get the lug holes done then I can convert it to a fixed bar. But I am not sure if I want to do that yet.

If I could find some good sword hands that might be in the books.

I have to admit I've been following since the initial "debacle" with this watch. I am curious how it turns out. everyone likes an underdog.........

My major beef with this watch is it would remind me of the pansy who sold it to you. Whining for people to send him money on YouTube because he's an imbecile.
