Daytona Straps - Pic heavy..

Hi.

If you're a fan of mirror polished gold centre links then I'm happy for you, and think there is nothing wrong with that at all

I on the other hand am not. I do like a Daytona though...

I had a choice, fresh back from RSC complete set 16523, or clean 116520 with no box or papers. Same price. To be honest the more I looked at the 116520 the less I liked it. The 16523 was growing on me, but that bracelet. I knew I couldn't do that bracelet!

Went for the tt, glad I did

Here's some pics, I'd be interested to know if you think there are any total misses or total hits here. It does fit on the all stainless solid end link bracelet from my 114270. Not perfect but close enough to wear. Didn't really like the look though. Don't know if the stainless bracelet from a 16520 would fit. Anyone tried it? Got a pic?

I have a Hirsch Performance on the way in a honey coloured leather. Will post a pic of it on that when it arrives.

The straps in the pictures are either Cordovan from Nomos, Eulit from yellys, Braided from Nomos, vintage from Alexpig or handmade from 922leather. My wrist is 6.5"

Have you got a two tone Daytona that you don't wear on the bracelet? Would love to see how you have yours..

All pics are mine and you can repost, or use elsewhere if you like.

Thanks for looking.

Ted.

None of them look bad, per se, but I think the bracelet is a better option. Whatever you prefer is the best option, of course. Enjoy.

Guessed brown would be popular, suprised no one mentioned the red or blue perlon. I can't decide if they look great or awful!

It's currently living on the brown with red stitching, classic but a little bit sporty..

No one else not using the bracelet on their tt Daytona? Anyone know if the bracelet from a 16520 would fit?

Thanks for all the replies so far :)

I think the brown tones work best with the gold and champagne. I'm not a fan of the blue or red.

That one was my first choice, its actually black, but has brown stitching. Amazing what a difference stitching color makes. The brown with red stitching (pictured in palm of hand) is my current favorite, I have the exact same straps with matching stitching. The brown one rarely sees use, the plain black lives on an IWC Mark XV :)

I was trying all the perlon because I want a waterproof option. That's why I ordered the Hirsch Performance. Will post a pic when it arrives..

The perlons look great - in fact they look awesome. This is the first time I would consider owning a bi metal Rolex.

I like all of them - the Perlon straps would be great with the right matching clothes. Interesting combos I really appreciate the style. It looks great and the yellow gold is just cool! The brown with red stitch looks classic and tones the gold down. As you said makes it sporty but classic. Really nice!
