What a great watch.

Kicking myself for not getting one sooner.

I have a Sub no date and a BLNR. Is the Explorer I too similar?

I picked up the MkI 214270 and never bonded with it, but the newest version couldn't have entered my collection soon enough!

I have a 14060m and the Explorer, so not too similar for my tastes. Lots to like with both.

Finally got one of these

And so did this

And this

I'm always going to prefer it on metal, but I had to see for myself what it would look like with new shoes on

TRF Explorer I Club Thread

I recently picked up the 214270 to wear exclusively on straps. I have an 8" wrist and find the watch a bit too small on bracelet, but the hardware of a nato strap seems to add to the size, at least visually.

Here are some photos....

They look great! I love nato straps though it's a divisive topic on TRF. I agree the strap adds some heft due to the fold over on the outside of the wrist along with the extra holder hardware, and of course the double layer of strap material under the case that lifts it maybe 3ish mm taller. Anyway that dial with those fresh clean straps looks awesome. Congrats!

That black (or is it dark grey?) NATO looks great!

I also have a 8 inch wrist. I had my AD order one link for the bracelet and it fits perfect with the the micro-adjustment in the middle hole and the "Easylink" in the closed position. Total cost was $70 US out the door.
