Hi, what is the difference between 16234 and 116234 ?

Are their movements the same or not ?

Yes, the movements are the same (3135). The 116234 has a different dial design and a heavier bracelet.

I was at the same position as you... I ended up buying a 16234 after handling a 116234 @ an AD. I used the extra $$$$ for other purchases.
