Tell me about it, Eric. I'm very tempted, but I'm going to exercise some restraint. I've more pressing issues at the moment that need my attention. RSC bill on my TOG overhaul came to $1,395, plus $200 to Mr Bridge. I paid $500 for it in 2012. I'm still well ahead.

I have never thought of selling any of my Rolex watches and something about Rolex just keeps me coming back time and again. Not to suggest I will not purchase or look at other watch brands in the future, but nothing really catches my attention other than the two previously mentioned models. Call me narrow minded, but if I were interested in other brands, I would be posting on their respective forums. |

Time to get u into a Patek !
Ure current collection is gorgeous, I'd hold onto them A patek or audemars would go lovely and with a diff look/feel to that collection I agree with the few here saying look beyond rolex Like what my mother said when I told her I'm considering marriage.. "Try everything on the menu" |

PP is on my shortlist, if my funds were not tied down for other things in life. Family will always come first. If I could, I would pick up a PP Calatrava 5227 in rose gold. That one is the definition of a beautiful, timeless dress watch. I am afraid to say that I am not an AP fan. I am familiar with the brand and have even tried on several pieces at my AD, but it did not work for me. Just not my cup of tea. Realistically, a TT Sub LB will most likely be added in a couple of year's time and then followed by a YG DD. If things change, then the PP Calatrava will be included too. One more thing. Your mother sounds like a wise woman with her words of advice. |
