Are you sure that this is a real AD??? The retail price on that watch is $8,950.

Purchased mine about a week ago at an AD in the Bay Area for the full $8950. I had spent a while looking for one and called several dealers to check stock, wouldn't surprise me if it was the only new one for sale in Northern CA since every dealer had a long wait list.

I think I lucked out because they had marked it Not For Sale throughout the holidays so they could keep one on display.

Quoted $8,400 in US from AD that I've done lots of business with.

Plan is to wait a bit and offer $8,000.

In terms of availability - my preferred AD had one, nearby AD had two; both dealers were hiding them in the safe.

I paid £6550 last week from my AD had been on the list for 2 years.
Was a shame about the 10% in November but had to have it.

I just sold my srickered BLNR to my friend for UK retail. £6550. He'd been after one for a long time and It just didn't do anything for me. I thought it would but next to my DeepSea it seemed ordinary and nothing spectacular. I actually prefer the original GMT-C with the black bezel. As for pricing I think that once people stop dreaming of a coke return, myself included, prices will stay the same as they are now and keep increasing as time goes by. It's still a difficult watch to obtain at retail in the UK and even more so in the Nederlands. Discount? good luck with that.

Same for me. People need to shop around. I spoke with may dealers and some No discount. However a few were flexible.

I tried one on yesterday at an AD in the midwest, he said 10% discount if he ships it across state lines, after I told him I was from the next state over.
No tax either so put it at exactly $8090.00 after next day shipping. (OTD)
I wonder if I brought in cash I could get a few percent less.

Unfortunately, I did not have the funds this weekend, I will be purchasing one in the next 6- months or so though.
I did joke around and ask if he could ship an empty box, but he was not going for that.

North Toronto is sold out and the other dealers won't deal. The 13% CAD tax seems to kill it.

I’m gonna need to see a receipt here. That would be $7800 before taxes.

About a month ago I bought my blnr for retail, $8950 + state and local taxes in the Bay Area, California. Shipping to another state would've eliminate the tax. My AD, the always wonderful people at Shreve & Co. on post street near union square still haven't gotten in another. They do have the WG BLRO which I ogle occasionally. I'm thrilled with my BLNR. My rep at Shreveport said it's been out for almost five years now and he's astonished how much interest it still generates. He, for the record is a GMT fan and sports a mint-looking SS Pepsi.

List price six weeks ago: $8950 + San Francisco / California sales tax. Ouch!

But they haven't gotten another one since so I'm glad I didn't pass up the opportunity. Plus, I met an awesome staff at a stellar AD, Shreve & Co on post street!

Sorry about my second reply on this thread. I forgot I'd already commented and just did again. I really love this blnr! : )

I paid retail $8950 or $9744 in NYC back in February. I know a friend who bought his for £5950 or about $7700 in London last year before the price increase. Even without Brexit they are usually much cheaper in Europe overall. Usually you'll pay the retail price without tax or a little less. I wish America included the price with tax in each state instead of having to always add the damn thing. Works well for marketing like the $99.99 under $100 bs.

Unfortunately it won't happen in USA because every State (or even every County) has its own sales tax policy, which is not controlled by the Central (or Federal) government like some other countries. Rolex doesn't allow various MSRPs applied for one country.

MSRP + sales tax from a well known AD in Carmel. Still thinking about it.
