Try Analogshift.com. They have offices in nyc and have some very cool stuff. Good luck with your search.

Aaron Faber has amazing stuff, but you won't find any deals there. 666 Fifth Ave.

Check the shops at the jewelry exchanges on 47th Street and on the Bowery. Fun to window shop, but the salespeople can be annoying and rude.

I wouldn't recommend Aaron Faber, but to each their own. I'd go see Gai Gohari at Classic Watch and John Buckley (aka Tuscany Rose) both on W. 47th Street and both good guys, in my experience.

I would agree with swish77.....I've met both Gai and John in NYC and both are really nice guys who like talking watches and have really good insight into the industry.

47th St is a treacherous place LOL Especially when it comes to vintage
Sometimes things are not what they seem, parts aren't always original - Frankenwatches galore.

John is a good guy though, I've done business with I'm in the past.

John is highly recommended and you can always contact Andrew Shear sheartime.com who is rock solid if there is a specific reference you want

Ditto, James and Jacob are awesome! I've bought three pieces from them.

Another thumbs up for James and Jacob at Analog Shift. I just recently bought a 5513 from them and they took alot of time to discuss the purchase and other pieces. I felt like they were trustworthy and that they actually enjoyed the process of finding, selling, and discussing vintage pieces - and werent just trying to make a buck. Definitely very differnet experience than dealing with a jeweler or a flipper.

Check out Central Watch in Grand Central Station. Trusted seller we have dealt with in the past.
