What to look for in a 1964 Datejust?

Hello from Norway,

I am looking for a birthyear 1964 Datejust. Preferably steel with white/silver face and fluted bezel.

Can you guys please tell me what I need to consider and be aware of in my search for such a watch?

Thanks!

Terje

Welcome to the Forum!

If you are not familiar with years of production, you would be looking for about a 1mil serial case. You could start your search with a 1601 or 1603, see if that attracts you.

Feel free to come back and post pictures for specific comments on the items you are considering..

Good Luck!
