It's an amazing and versatile watch. No regrets here. The dark navy blue is very inky and creates a nice panda effect.... The ceramic bezel doesn't hurt either.

Funny enough, trying to decide at this very moment after being offered one yesterday.
Problem is, can't get to the outlet and really would love to try it on my wrist before purchase. Any pics of, on the wrist, showing especially case height please? Thanks in anticipation |

Love it, tried it. A bit too small for me. Would prefer if the dial was a white or cream instead of silver. Nice watch tho.

I love it. I have been close to pulling the trigger many times - but I already have two blue watches - FPJ CB and AP 15202 - and a Speedy Pro.
It may be a nice way to bridge that gap though. Oh no. Okay. Logging off before I spend more money. But in all seriousness, it's sensational in person. Better than the new Daytonas in my humble opinion. A proper panda chrono. |

Do they sell these at ADs or just boutiques? Still available in the USA or hard to get?

Are the silver hands visible? Or do they blend in with the silver/white dial?

I had mine for 2 weeks and flipped it. I was not a fan of the strap and tang buckle. Also, I found it a hair small and wasn't crazy about the fit but I've become spoiled to the fit of Daytonas. I did though really like the dial which was more of a navy. Kinda miss it....

thanks for the feedback. Thinking of getting one, what would be the most suitable strap for this one? thinking of putting it in a metal strap if ever. Similar to the 1125 shown above!

I owned mine for 10 days and then flipped it. I really loved it in pics and having a Snoopy was feeling a bit of an Omega need in my small collection to be filled after a very long absence. After a week on the wrist I ended up selling it as I just didn't love it as I thought I would. It was a combination of things for me. While I loved the blue in the pics, I didn't like it as much in person. And I know this sounds petty, but I didn't like the lolipop seconds hand. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. So I let it go to someone who would enjoy it more than me. The guy who bought it loves it several months on and thats all that matters.
Funny thing though, the forum member who gave up his spot to me so i could buy it ended up "turning me in" to the AD whom I bought it from. What kind of person does that? Thereby putting strain on a 10 year relationship. FFS! Had I known I wouldn't like it, I wouldn't have bought it. We take the risk spending thousands of dollars to find out we don't end up liking the watch and then we are bad people for flipping? Even though I listed it for market I ended up selling it for $50 less than I paid for it. LOL! |

I already have a 3573.50 and have acquired a Mitsukoshi dial and hand set. What I haven't done is buy the donor.
If I had not bought the Mitsukoshi set I would likely have bought the CK2998. The only other holdback is the lack of a display back - a significant error in my pov. |

Love this watch and it is even better with time. I have lots of pictures of this one on instagram (creative_m31). The blue is great because often I find colours on a watch can get tired but it is very dark and can almost look black in some lights, with the occasional bright blue pop in bright sunlight. Slightly thicker than you might expect but that helps with the sporty appeal.
