If your wrist can take it - yes.
My wrist could not handle it. My wrist would struggle to pull off the 4K nevermind the 50th..otherwise I would be in. I think it looks great, like a scaled up classic sub. I also like the sd4k though.. they all good! |

Can't see your poll. What's going into your reasons for considering the new watch / getting rid of the SD?

43 is a hideous, slipshod betrayal of the SD.

a. Keep the SD4K b. Flip SD4K for the SD43 c. Keep SD4K and add the SD42 to the collection Fair question - reasons for considering: SD43 is an anniversary piece and i believe it might become more collectible. On the other hand, the SD4K has a very short production run and no one knows how long the SD43 will be in production. I like the red lettering on the SD43. 43mm seems to be a great size for a divers watch. I would be using it outside office hours, so sliding it under a shirt cuff is not an issue for me. SD4K doesn't go under the cuff either way. However, when the SD4K came out, I was not in doubt that it fit my wrist sizewise a lot better than a DSSD. Looks like I can get a great sales price on the SD4K right now, and judging by the demand, the SD43 will not be loosing a lot in value going forward. Flipping the SD4K won't "cost" me, and its always fun to try a new piece. Other reasons to keep the SD4K; it was a birthday gift from myself (one can always find an excuse to get a new watch right?) and it was also released from basel the year i met my girlfriend |

Keep and add if your wrist can support this watch to your comfort level. Otherwise, just keep the SD4K.

Love my 116600 SD4k, and I wouldn't trade it in personally. I might look at the newer version at some point but for me I'm happy where I am, and currently have no real interest in the 43. GL with your decision

I say add it until one is evidently becoming redundant.
Then sell the one that's surplus if dedicated to a one watch lifestyle. Otherwise it will be a great addition to a collection. |

It's making the DSSD bracelet look quite slim but still acceptable with the amount of taper offered. |

I would not flip my SD4K for anything. I was initially opposed to the SD43/50/whatever we're calling it entirely bc of the size and cyclops, but I want to see it in person.
If anything I'd add, but I'm more likely to add something different. |

Flip the SD4K for a SD43?
No I wouldn't. They're not making any more of those and the SD50 is going to be around for a long time.
So, add if you can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Do it. Sd4k is hype right now and you can cash in on the recent pop in prices.

I'm just going to add the new one. The deep sea was never really for me. I have it two tries. Hopefully this one will be the perfect medium!
