The SD4K is a nothing watch ... poor imitation of the original... the 43 is where it's at and brings it up to date...great size... it needs to be seen !!!

Lol!! I bought the sd43 all paid for and when I tried it on asked for my money back. I bought the sdc and love the vintage feeling. To each their own. The sdc is perfect for me . If I want the heavy watch it will be full gold not SS.

That is a hard one... still wayting to see a SD43 in real life, but doubt I would sell my SD4K. I don't think owning 2 different size watches would work for me. Afraid one would get all the wear time and the other one none. Also do not like the cyclops too much, but that is just personal taste. Of course adding, if possible, would be the safest way to go.

Take a look at both and make up your own mind. Polls are other peoples opinions and only yours counts.

Let your wife decide, that way you can do no wrong.

...for those who said they would not flip a sd4k for the sd43...you really need to see this new reference.

I was pretty underwhelmed seeing the sd4k last year...however the sd43 is a different beast altogether.

I would flip... I like the SD43 much better!
I lot more character and wrist presence and I like the cyclops.
Plus the beautiful red lettering, all the new Rolex tech + 70 hour power reserve!!
That is almost a day better than SD4000's 48 hour.
No brainer for me, SD43 crushes the SD4K on all levels (IMHO).

I actually kinda LIKE that it "looks" like a thick Sub (even though its not in many ways), but not TOO big like DSSD.
The Sub is my favorite Rolex reference but it doesn't have a bigger version.
For my small wrists it is about as large as I would want, but perfectly large for my big watch craving.
It's some serious SS bling, in a super sporty and fun way!

Flip it. If you regret later, you can always flip back.

Charlize Theron wears a DSSD. Does that make it a girly watch?
