36mm is perfect for women.

40mm if she's "not petite".

*and by petite I mean size 0.
proportions would be off & you can only take out so many links.

Yes, it is feminine, and diamonds are a women's best friend. :-)

I agree!

I am a guy with a smaller wrist. I wear a 1983 TT 18k/SS Date (15003). It fits nicely under a shirt cuff and does not look too large.

The advantage women have over men when it comes to watches is ANY size can generally go with the right wardrobe.

We men can't get away with a dainty wristwatch, regardless of wrist size.

Wife wears a 36 and she's relatively petite to 'normal'. Here's a custom job we got for around $6k total in NY. No need to seek out a new or $$$ model when there's a HUGE abundance of good Rolex timepieces are great prices. BTW, it came with a 2 year warranty too and the bracelet had very little stretch.

For our 20th wedding anniversary I'm considering getting my wife the 36mm Date Just pink floral motif. My question is: if this is her only really nice watch (she loves her assortment of Michele watches) is it too limiting? Is it only a summer watch? Can she only wear with pink? I'm also looking at the silver floral motif to provide more flexibility but that seems almost too silver-on-silver plain. She likes bold fashion.

I'm sure she'll love the look of the pink one, I'm just concerned it won't be able to get as much wrist time as a Rolex deserves. Thoughts? (sorry for the hi-jack, but this thread was just too timely)
