Yeah, I doubt it as well but am curious to hear from current owners.

While I got a discount on the first 116600 to hit the store, the 126600 seems to be just a little more popular

Really? I wouldn't say that at all.

I would doubt that anything going for 18k on the gray market is going to have a discount at the AD...but I guess you never know.

None of those are sold for 18k as waiting time is 0-14 days. Seems they are quite easy to get and normal discounts are given based on earlier client relationship. Althought I have only 4 acquitances who have bought this beautiful watch.

Seems if you can't get it for MSRP through an AD here in the states, you are paying a $6,000 demand premium in the Grey market.

I saw an ad yesterday from a collector/dealer in Orlando asking over $17000 for one. Personally I considered that thievery. I don't really want one but I would like to see one in the flesh. My local AD says he'll be lucky to see one by August. That surprised me because he is a big time stocking dealer and probably has over 100 Rolex's in his display cases as well as lots of Tudors. If he can't get one in, how big does a dealer have to be to order one?

I paid full price, no regrets.

Life's too short and if you love the reference why wait to try and save 10 or 15 %

I called an AD yesterday and he said the SD43 is red hot and he had a 5 year waiting list, so he couldn't help me at all....

I suspect that is just hype, but I don't know if it is a watch for me anyway, so I'm not disappointed.

This will fall to msrp or below shortly in my opinion. I still don't see that happening to the Daytona C for quite awhile
