But you do avoid the faff of being in the wrong half of the day. If you want to guarantee the date doesn't change at noon, Paul's (Ruud) method is the way to go. I set mine the same way.

My replies are referring back to the OPs question in that for some, but not all watches, it would be a good idea to set the date with the hour hand between 3 and 9. The standard way to set the date and time (setting from the day before as previously mentioned) is irrelevant to the OPs question. As I said, I'm not looking to upset the camp and the OPs question has been answered so I'm going to leave it there |
