I have a "Custom Watch Concepts" (whose ad is on the bottom of the page as I type this) caseback on my GMT. Looks great, and passed a pressure test no problem.

The movement is nothing special to look at, but the cost is negligible relative to the price of the watch; I just like to see the spinning whatsits doing their thing.

I have it on all the watches it came on from the factory, i.e. AP, Lange. No Rolex.

Bet you haven't come across any watch fitted with a Hesalite acrylic crystal over the dial and a sapphire crystal display caseback have you ?It's the rare Moonwatch Ref 3572.50 in production from 1997-2002

Goodness Gracious me! Of course it's all 100% 0riginal ! Omega had the Hexalite/Sapphire combo produced from 1995-2002/3 and I think there were 4/5 variants with respects to the ● Calibre 863 / '95-'96 with that beautiful gilt movement or the Rhodium plated finish Cal 1863 / '97-2002/3 ●The transition from 17->18 jewels in '96 ● Tritium or Superluminova dials. Most of the 3572.50 for sale on the forums are after '98.Sometimes 'younger' speedies appear to have "older" handsets/ markers /calibres and that's when all the confusion begins.When a Seller claims the 3572.50 belongs to a transitional era and therefore worthy of a premium price, show him the middle finger and tell him the Speedie was most likely assembled using
" Omega parts bins special ! "


IMHO, THE most coveted 3572.50 Hexalite/Sapphire combo is the Cal 863 movement with the gilt decoration and a tritium dial. If the watch was previously owned by any NASA astronaut then the sky's the limit

I had one installed on my new-to-me EXPII when I had it serviced last month. It passed pressure testing and looks great. No issues so far and very pleased with it.
