Flip dilema

Fellow Rolex lovers!

I got the call for the DaytonaC. However I am now faced with an ever increasing dilemma! Even though funds do allow that i purchase the DaytonaC on cash, I am inclining towards selling a watch in my current collection to fund the purchase. I have narrowed it down to my TT Daytona black dial or my Bluesy (bear in mind I also have the batman and hulk hence same case shape).

I just cant make up my mind, whenever i wear the TT Daytona the elegance and class begs me not to sell, the bluesy (being my first rolex) has a special place in my heart and the dial is just beautiful (though i do plan on getting another bluesy if i do sell in the near future)

Help me out guys! Whats the best course of action!

If I were you, I would buy now and sell later. Give yourself 1-3 months to make sure you take to the new watch before you prematurely sell something that you might want back. All of the options you're considering to sell are hot and likely to stay hot. Don't get rid of something until you're certain the "replacement" is going to stick around. I've seen enough posts on here about people who try the new DaytonaC and in short order realize they want their old models instead.

Congrats on the incoming! Enjoy it, regardless of what you decide to do in the near term.

That is some good advice right there. I will only add that taking your time selling will likely come with you holding out for your price instead of just taking what you can get in a rush.

My thoughts as well. If you absolutely don't have to let anything go, then don't...what's the rush?

Congrats on the new watch.

I would sell both the Bluesy and TT Daytona. I don't see you wearing either with what you have in your collection unless you need a TT.

I would sell the Hulk. I just don't get "it", i think the green is gross looking. but that is my opinion! plus you'll get what you paid for it!

I wouldn't sell the TT Sub. I would however let the TT Daytona go as you will be replacing it with the SS brother.
