I'm just back from vacation, I went to personally visit all 3 local ADs in the DC area today (I'm a repeat customer at all 3) to check on my status on the Daytona. No luck and no ETA. I just cannot catch a break on this watch.

Well I'm certainly surprised about this!! And if true shows no good deed goes unpunished!!

Plus this was a lot of trouble for nothing and I really wanted to see it go to someone I knew but first come wins

Well I will call him and provide follow up!!

Regardless of what transpired with the banned user, one of our own did a good thing. I don't know any of the folks involved as I'm a relatively recent really active user, but the thing to remember is that doing good always outweighs doing bad and, you know, what goes around comes around. :)

Whoa! What a crazy thread, first a SS Daytona comes up for grabs due to the generosity of Dr. Tom and then the "winner" turns out to be a scam artist. Never a dull day with you ladies and gents! Please let us know what happens with your AD, I'm sure many would be interested to know

My AD offered me a ceramic Daytona...so many great guys on this forum are really wanting one I tried to do something I thought would be nice...I bought the watch in hope of making someone's wait over

Soooo first guy to asks for it was caught as a watch scammer by our mod Adam

I cancelled the deal just in time!!

Well in the meantime my PM box blew up and I had to clear it!!

Now I have the watch and don't honestly know who was next in line!!

Sorry for all this drama!!! Will update later as my head is spinning from all this!!!
