Datejust 1601 - Bracelet and Endlink Questions

Previously had my Datejust 1601 on a black Hirsch band, but it popped. The shop that sent the watch for RSC servicing in 2016 no longer sells Hirsch bands and will no longer put on any leather bands (only the bracelet that came with the watch). They offered to put on the Oyster bracelet that was on the watch when I first took it in for servicing. The fit is not right, though (rep told me it was a Submariner bracelet). Photo attached.
  • 93153-18 stamped on the clasp (also has a 310 stamped)
  • 93153 stamped on two links
  • 493 stamped on endlinks
It sounds like a new Oyster bracelet for the 1601 will run me 3k-4k from Rolex, so looking into my options. Though tempting, some threads suggest it's not worth it to buy a new bracelet for a 1601.
  1. Anyone able to offer the correct Oyster bracelet model number and endlink number?
  2. Any suggestion on reputable site for ordering the bracelet or endlinks? What are fair prices?
  3. Would simply replacing the endlinks to the correct 1601 endlinks work with the Submariner bracelet?

Update: Also considering getting a Hirsch leather band and carefully switching it out myself with a Bergeon 6767-F.

If you want a leather band, just take it to a shop that sells the one you want and have them swap it.

I have no idea why the shop you’re using would insist on a bracelet. No one does that.

BTW, nice watch!
