I actually prefer the smaller AP RO's... This is one I have been after in good condition

Thank you my friends! I must say, you guys have amplified the joy and elevated my experience of owning this special RO!

Roger, I wasn't entirely quite about this piece (see here)

Andreas and Alex, AP Singapore had helped to nail my purchase decision with this scan from an old catalogue from mid-90s. The one on the left shows the reference as well as all characteristics of the watch, although the dial color appears to be a little pale. I believe there's no other variance though.

Mike, I was equally curious about its weight. How is it compared to 15300 or 15400?

Congrats on your find! It is a great piece and extremely unique. I especially like the tantalum!

Wait... Is this a white gold/steel combo? Or... Something else?

Tantalum has an extremely high boiling and melting point. Interesting.

With the help from some very knowledgeable members from various forums as well as the exceptional service from AP Singapore, I was able to acquire this rare piece with a peace of mind, and tremendous pleasure.

The special material combo and that exquisite flat dial make a refreshing twist from the classic RO design. It might be small by today's standard, but the 36mm case balance well on my wrist, and it is hefty thanks to the tantalum. The two-tone appeal completes the twist!

As this reference is really rare, I'm very pleased to receive great assistance from Oliviero and his team from AP Singapore on the verification of the accuracy and originality of the design. I must say, the joy of this particular acquisition does not only come from the intriguing product, but also completed by the exemplary service from the brand.

I'm very satisfied :)

Awesome!! Congrats!!
