FS: Grand Seiko SBGW001

I’m selling my wonderful SBGW001. It’s a really lovely piece, 37.4mm across and 11.4mm thick. It was serviced 12 months ago and keeping excellent time.

It is in excellent condition, no deep marks or dings, dial is perfect. The strap is used but original to the watch - considering it was first sold in 2003, the strap is in excellent condition since the watch has been hardly used over this time. The strap has lost the original keepers but otherwise in ok condition.

The SBGW001 differs from the subsequent SBGW031 in that text on the dial is in relief, rather than printed which makes for a more interesting dial IMO. This model was Japanese Domestic Market only so it’s rare to see it for sale outside Japan.

It comes as the fullest of full sets, with every piece of paper it originally came with, all boxes in mint condition.

I’m based in NE Scotland, prefer to deal in UK or Europe but due to visit Houston in April if any US folks are interested. 2450 GBP.
