Skydweller bulk vs Deepsea Bulk
Hi,
Just wondering if people who own both can chime in with whether the Skydweller is less bulky feeling on the wrist. I love my Deepsea and am zoning in on a skydweller white. I don't wear the deepsea for a daily but would hope to wear the skydweller a bit more for a daily. cheers |

Hi Hound;-)))
IMG_1447.jpg Here are my Deepsea and SkyD and I love my Deepsea equally as you and it’s a technical marvel on the wrist. I have used it daily and never tired of it. When it comes to the SkyD it’s even better, a wore it straight for two weeks and it fits and wears perfectly! You’re gonna love it!!! And though 2 mm less in diameter, it actually has the same wrist presence as the DS, probably also due to the gold bezel! So, thumbs up, get that SkyD, your are not going to regret it!!!! I have both and the SkyD is easier and more comfortable to wear due to the shape of the lugs and its lesser thickness.
Drapes nicer over the wrist compared to a DSSD or Submariner and wears smaller than it's size on paper would suggest. Though the clasp of the DSSD is a marvel I prefer the easy link of the SkyD, so fast and easy. Having said that I consider the DSSD a fine daily wearer as well

Own the Sky-D and have owned the Deepsea. The Sky-D is quite comfortable on the wrist. Deepsea always felt too top heavy and bulky for me. Get the Sky-D, you will love it!

Bulk is not an issue for me. If I like it - I wear it.

Own both .
SkyD wears smaller than the DSSD 116660,less top heavy . SkyD has great wrist presence and present beautifully .Pretty sleek design. After getting the black ss SkyD,I would love to ad a TT SkyD with champagne dial .(Then my TT DJ II champagne diamond dial would have to go .. and I really dont want to let it go ) |

I don't own both, but I've had the chance to see the white SkyD in person and it's much smaller than the DSSD (which I do own). I am seriously considering picking one up after checking it out in person. Almost a perfect size.

The Sky-Dweller is definitely not as thick as the DS nor does it have the same wrist presence.

Definitely SkyD wears much thinner than DSSD. I was never able to get used of wearing DSSD with long sleeved shirts. It does not fit under the cuff. While it is just the opposite with SkyD. Fits perfectly!

The skydweller is almost luminescent it’s so blingy. I’ve been sitting at my kids hockey game and covered it up because I can see it twinkling out of the corner of my eye and people looking at it. It’s got crazy presence. |

The DSSD clasp is the absolute best IMO; I will the entire SS line had it.
DSSD definitely wears bigger but at most angles The SkyD has similar presence. No mistaking that DSSD from the side though. It's really huge! :) |

Hey Michael, hope you are well, even after the semi and final of the World cup.
Agree with others that the SkyD is less bulky and easier to wear than the DSSD. |

Are you saying if you like the way it looks you'll wear it no matter what, even if it's uncomfortable?

Deepsea is over the top thick. This brought a childish smile to my face upon purchase but as time passed I just found it too clunky. It was worn once out of the house

Have them both, the SkyD is my favourite, the perfect size for me.
With the DSSD, much more bracelet adjusting is needed but so what - only takes a few secs to get it right.

Never never never buy or even try on a DSSD. It will ruin all other watches for you.

Sky Dweller has crazy wrist presence. It literally turns heads. It reflects light like crazy thanks to the fluted bezel.
I don’t have a deep sea but I have an SD43 and the SkyD is much slimmer and lighter on the wrist. |
